The premiere of Yodha was held in Mumbai on March 14. At the screening, Kiara Advani was there to support her husband, Sidharth Malhotra, who plays the lead role in the film. Disha Patani, on the other hand, plays an air hostess in the film. Interestingly, Kiara and Disha reunited at the special screening of Yodha; they had a MS Dhoni: The Untold Story reunion. Kiara Advani and Disha Patani were seen walking out of the theatre with Sidharth Malhotra after watching Yodha. The actresses worked with Sushant Singh Rajput in the 2016 film, MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. A paparazzi shared their video on social media and netizens remembered SSR in the comment section. 

"Miss you LEGEND SSR (sic)," wrote one Instagram user, while another posted, "We miss him (sic)." One more netizen added, "Song ke sath bus ek insaan yaad aata hai SSR (sic)."

For the uninitiated, Disha Patani essayed the role of Sushant Singh Rajput's girlfriend, who later dies in MS Dhoni: The Untold Story. The movie was based on the life of cricketer Mahendra Singh Dhoni. Kiara Advani, on the other hand, portrayed the character of Sakshi Singh. As far as SSR is concerned, the actor played the titular role in the Neeraj Pandey directorial.

About Yodha

Meanwhile, Pushkar Ojha and Sagar Ambre's Yodha released in cinemas today (March 15). Sidharth is seen as Arun Katyal, while Ronit Roy plays the role of his father, Surender Katyal. Raashii Khanna plays Sidharth's love interest, Priyamvada. Produced by Dharma Productions and Shashank Khaitan, Yodha also stars Tanuj Virwani.

While the critics have given Yodha positive feedback, it remains to be seen what kind of verdict it receives from the audience. It will premiere on Amazon Prime Video once the theatrical run ends.
