Mohanlal, the Malayalam superstar is now winning the internet with his electrifying performance at a recently held Vanitha Film Awards 2024 event. The Neru actor set the stage on fire as always, as he shook leg to the famous song ‘Zinda Banda’ from Shah Rukh Khan’s blockbuster movie Jawan. King Khan, who is highly impressed with Mohanlal’s performance, shared a video of the same on his official X (formerly Twitter) handle, with a special note.

For the uninitiated, Mohanlal and several popular actresses of the Malayalam film industry performed the ‘Zinda Banda’ song, which was composed by Anirudh Ravichander, at the Vanitha Film Awards 2024 event, which was held in Kochi on April 22, 2024. The Malayalam superstar’s fans and cine-goers have been going gaga over his energetic performance after the videos of the same went viral. Shah Rukh Khan, the leading man of Jawan, reshared one of those videos on his X handle, with the best reaction.

“Thank u @Mohanlal sir for making this song the most special for me now. Wish I had done it half as good as you. Love u sir and waiting for dinner at home as and when. You are the OG Zinda Banda!!!” reads Shah Rukh Khan’s X (formerly Twitter) post. Mohanlal, on the other hand, reshared SRK's post on his official X handle with a lovely caption, which reads: "Dear @iamsrk, nobody can do it like you! You are and always will be the OG Zinda Banda in your classic, inimitable style. Thanks for your kind words. Also, just dinner? Why not groove to some Zinda Banda over breakfast, too?"

Vanitha Film Awards 2024 to stream on Manorama Max

As per the recent updates, the star-studded Vanitha Film Awards 2024 event is all set to be streamed at the popular OTT platform Manorama Max, in a few weeks. Even though the platform has not officially announced the streaming date yet, it is expected to be available on the platform from May 2024. An official update on the same is expected to be out very soon. You can also stream the prestigious event on OTTPlay Premium.

Mohanlal and Shah Rukh Khan’s work fronts

The veteran superstar of Malayalam cinema is totally busy in his career. Mohanlal is planning to simultaneously shoot for Prithviraj Sukumaran's directorial L2: Empuraan, and Tharun Moorthy’s upcoming film which has been tentatively titled L360. Later, he will reunite with veteran filmmaker Joshiy for the upcoming action thriller Rambaan, and with Sathyan Anthikad for an untitled family entertainer.

Shah Rukh Khan, on the other hand, has a massive line-up of upcoming projects, including Pathaan 2, which is a sequel to his blockbuster outing Pathaan. He is also set to share the screen with Salman Khan in another installment of YRF’s spy universe franchise, titled Tiger V/s Pathaan. Reportedly, King Khan is also teaming up with his daughter Suhana Khan, for an untitled thriller helmed by Sujoy Ghosh, soon.
