Mimi Chakraborty is all set with her upcoming film, Alaap, opposite Abir Chatterjee. Directed by Premendu Bikash Chaki, the film will fit the theatres on April 26. Meanwhile, the actress is also busy shooting her debut Bangladesh project, Toofan, with Shakib Khan. In her busy schedule, Mimi shared a special message to keep our earth clean and plastic-free on World Earth Day.

Earth Day was recently celebrated. The day, April 22, is for keeping the earth good, clean, and liveable. However, it is difficult to gauge people’s awareness. We harm nature in cities, villages, and even while on a trip. Mimi Chakraborty sent a special message to keep our earth clean and plastic-free.

Mimi shared an old video of her trip on Earth Day. She was seen wearing a bikini and garnering the plastic bottles from the sea beach.

The actress shared the video on social media and wrote ‘Earth and plastic. Still, we call it Happy Earth Day. It is not yet late. Some conscious choices can still help us and correct the sin we committed to mother earth. She is still giving us chances.’

A person teased him and wrote ‘It would be good to do these things where you won the election.’ Another person wrote ‘First of all, try to make Kolkata clean. Do these things abroad later.’ A third person wrote ‘Arre didi you can sell these and have rice or muri for ten rupees, or you can have fries also.’ A fourth person wrote ‘Why do you show off so much?’

Besides Mimi and Abir, Premendu Bikash Chaki’s Alaap also features Swastika Dutta, Kinjal Nanda, Debapriya Mukherjee, and Tanwi Laha Roy. The film will be released on April 26.
