Manoj Bajpayee’s Silence 2 is currently (once again) the most viewed film on Zee5. The sequel happened after the success of the original movie. However, the actor avoided discussing about the first installment on the sets. There’s a particular reason for that, which happens to be a part of Manoj’s acting process.

What Manoj said

The lead actor spoke to News X where he revealed that not talking about the original film, Silence, is the first rule. He believes that the focus should be on the script at hand, in order to direct all energy into the very script.

On how he handles sequels

In the same interview, Manoj was asked about how he handles working in sequels. Manoj said that it is not about getting sequels right but focusing on the project at hand, which is the sequel. “It can fall in any place possible, but you should focus on the things that are in your control and never take the success of the first one for granted,” he said.

About Silence 2

Silence 2 is the sequel of the Manoj Bajpayee-starring film from 2021, which became a huge hit when it released on Zee5 and OTTplay Premium. Titled Silence… Can You Hear It?, the movie saw Manoj take up the role of ACP Avinash Verma, who leads a team that is investigating the murder of a high profile victim (daughter of a retired justice). The sequel of the film is called Silence 2: The Night Owl Bar Shootout. As the name suggests, this time the case is about a bar shootout. Apart from Manoj, Prachi Desai, Arjun Mathur and Barkha Singh are seen in the lead roles in both the movies. Silence 2 released on Zee5 and OTTplay Premium on April 16 and is now available for streaming.
