Filmmaker Karan Johar recently garnered significant attention on social media when he donned a 'nepo baby' T-shirt during an outing. He was accompanied by interior designer Gauri Khan and television personality Malaika Arora, along with their friends, for a dinner engagement.

A video posted by a paparazzo on Instagram captured the group as they exited a restaurant in Mumbai. For the occasion, Gauri was dressed in a golden ensemble featuring a matching blazer, while Malaika Arora chose a striking long red bodycon dress.

Karan wears ‘nepo baby’ T-shirt

Karan sported a full-sleeved white T-shirt emblazoned with the phrase "Nepo baby," which he paired with black trousers and sneakers. In response to the video, one fan remarked, "Finally, he is wearing his Nepo Baby shirt with pride." Another user commented, "KJo's top is really on point, isn't it? He seems proud to be a nepo baby." Additionally, a comment noted, "Nepo baby and proud, I suppose." An Instagram user also observed, "He has lost a considerable amount of weight."

In January 2023, Hailey Bieber was seen in Los Angeles wearing a 'nepo baby' T-shirt, which she styled with denim. An Instagram account shared her photo, which received a 'like' from Alia Bhatt.

Karan walked the ramp too at Mumbai event

Earlier, Karan, alongside Sidharth Malhotra, walked the runway during the fifth edition of the Ajio Luxe Weekend in Mumbai. He wore an all-white ensemble consisting of a satin shirt, trousers, and a trench blazer, complemented by a diamond necklace and an emerald brooch.

Sidharth chose a satin blue blazer paired with trousers, while Farah Khan also made an appearance in a red outfit. Other attendees included Malaika, Kunal Rawal, and Varun Sood.

About Karan's project

Karan is set to direct an untitled series for Netflix India, with production expected to commence shortly. His most recent directorial effort was the 2023 film "Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani." Since then, he has produced several films, including "Kill," "Yodha," "Mr & Mrs Mahi," and "Jigra," among others.

He is set to produce the film Tu Meri Main Tera, Main Tera Tu Meri. Directed by Sameer Vidwans, this project will be produced by Dharma Productions. Featuring Kartik Aaryan in the lead role, the film is scheduled for a worldwide theatrical release in 2026.
