As per the latest Reddit post that is going viral, Kangana Ranaut in an old tweet has spoken about not wanting to contest the election for Himachal Pradesh as it is a constituency with a limited population and no crime. She wanted something challenging. But over two years later, the actor going for the same constituency has led to people on the internet calling her out. Some have even called the star a hypocrite.

The tweet dates back to March 17, 2021, when a Twitter user in a tweet wrote, “Mark my tweet! @KanganaTeam will fight by-election from Mandi Lok Sabha Constituency.” Giving him a reply, calling him a "Small Fry," Kangana Ranaut wrote, “I was given the option of Gwalior during the 2019 Lok Sabha elections. HP population is hardly 60/70 lakhs, no poverty/crime. If I get into politics, I want a state with complexities I can work on and be the Queen I am in that field also. Small fry like you won’t understand big talks.” The netizens are now reacting quite fiercely to the tweet on Reddit.

Kangana Ranaut's React To Latest Update

Meanwhile, after the news of Kangana Ranaut being named the BJP candidate for Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi was revealed, Kangana reacted to the same. On the microblogging site, she wrote, “My beloved Bharat and Bharatiya Janta’s own party, Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP), has always had my unconditional support. Today, the national leadership of BJP has announced me as their Lok Sabha candidate from my birthplace Himachal Pradesh, Mandi (constituency). I abide by the high command’s decision on contesting Lok Sabha polls.”
