Actor Kangana Ranaut has addressed inquiries regarding her willingness to reconcile with filmmaker Karan Johar and singer Diljit Dosanjh. In an interview with The New Indian, Kangana expressed that she has achieved a state of peace with both individuals. However, she emphasized that she does not consider it necessary to cultivate a friendship with them.

Kangana on peace with Karan, Diljit

Regarding her relationship with Karan and Diljit, Kangana stated, "I am at peace with them. I genuinely feel at peace with them. When I encounter exceptional work, whether it is Karan Johar's Shershaah or a project from Diljit, I am always open to acknowledging it. The question is whether I need to befriend them or socialize with them, and I do not believe that is essential. Do I harbor any animosity towards them? No, I do not think I have any grievances against them."

Kangana-Diljit’s feud

The conflict between Kangana and Diljit Dosanjh originated in 2020 amid the farmers' protests. Kangana had tweeted that Diljit was inciting the protests and suggested that he had 'vanished' after initially supporting the farmers. In response, Diljit countered her claims regarding the government's farm laws and vocally supported the protesters at the Delhi border, leading to a series of exchanges on X.

Kangana and Karan's fight

Kangana's dispute with Karan dates back to 2017 when she appeared on Koffee with Karan alongside Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor. During the show's Rapid Fire segment, Karan inquired about the villain in her biopic, to which Kangana pointedly identified him as "the flag-bearer of nepotism," leaving him visibly taken aback. Karan later defended himself, asserting that he has shown grace as a host and highlighted his record of launching new directors through his production company. He clarified that his decision not to work with Kangana was a matter of choice, not a reflection of her outsider status. Kangana has consistently criticized Karan on her social media platforms.

During her latest appearance on the singing reality show Indian Idol 15, Kangana was inquired about the possibility of acting in a film produced by Karan's production company, Dharma Productions.

Kangana responded, "I regret to say that Karan sir should consider collaborating with me on a film. I can offer him a substantial role and create a high-quality film that transcends the typical saas-bahu drama and is not merely a public relations endeavor. It will be a genuine cinematic experience, and he will receive a meaningful role."
