Bollywood’s cherished pair Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol have once more brought joy to fans—this time, away from the cinema. After SRK made his highly awaited appearance at the Met Gala 2025 in a bold black tuxedo and layered jewelry, Kajol humorously replicated his outfit in a playful Instagram post, igniting a wave of fond memories and laughter among supporters.

On Tuesday, Kajol went to Instagram and posted several images of herself in a black blazer and silver accessories. Along with her own images, she featured Shah Rukh’s Met Gala attire and challenged fans to “spot the difference” between them. She was seen donning chunky bangles, several rings, a nose ring, and silver earrings to finish off the ensemble. In sharing the images, she remarked, “Hmmmm, spot the difference,” and tagged SRK.

One fan commented, “No difference, Kajol—he is the king and you are the queen. ” Another fan remarked, “Teasing your best friend is a different type of enjoyment. ” Others contributed, “Rahul and Anjali got back together,” “Best friend core,” and “Ah, just like the earlier days. ” A fan even referenced Kuch Kuch Hota Hai: “Come on Rahul, come on Anjali, give us a picture together. ” Another user stated, “Kuch Kuch Hota Hai Anjali vibes,” while one declared, “The pair is unforgettable and lovely. ” Fans overwhelmed the comment section, requesting another movie with the cherished duo.

Shah Rukh and Kajol continue to be one of Bollywood’s most legendary on-screen pairs. They have captured hearts with their chemistry in movies like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jaayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham, and others. Their off-screen friendship has also won over audiences throughout the years. The two were last seen together in Rohit Shetty’s Dilwale, featuring Varun Dhawan and Kriti Sanon. Since then, fans have been eagerly looking forward to their reunion on screen.

Kajol will soon be seen in the horror film Maa, directed by Vishal Furia and produced by Ajay Devgn and Jyoti Deshpande. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on 27 June.

On the other hand, Shah Rukh Khan is set to appear in Siddharth Anand’s action film King. The film reportedly features Suhana Khan and Abhishek Bachchan and is planned to begin shooting later this year. Discussing the film at a gathering at Global Village in Dubai in January, SRK mentioned, “I’m not merely filming it here; I’m filming it in Mumbai when I return in a couple of months. My director, Siddharth Anand, who directed Pathaan, is very strict. He said, ‘Don’t reveal details about the film, what you’re doing in it. ’ Therefore, I can’t disclose much, but I can assure you it will be entertaining—you’ll have a good time. ”
