Even though she has mostly been the controversy’s favourite child, Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut is someone who has never shied away from calling a spade a spade. There have been many times when she landed herself into trouble because of this. But, not the one to be broken down, she has always risen up and gave it back to those who spoke anything wrong about her.

"Kya bhaav chal raha hai Mandi me koi btayega?"

The latest news about the actress is that, she has replied to the Congress leader Supriya Shrinate, who had taken to social media and posted a photograph of hers. It was captioned as ‘Kya bhaav chal raha hai Mandi me koi btayega?’ The latest update is that the post has now been deleted.

"In the last 20 years of my career as an artist I have played all kinds of women..."

Not the one to take it lying down, Kangana Ranaut took to social media and gave a befitting reply to the political leader. The Dhaakad actress wrote, ‘Dear Supriya ji, In the last 20 years of my career as an artist I have played all kinds of women. From a naive girl in Queen to a seductive spy in Dhaakad, from a goddess in Manikarnika to a demon in Chandramukhi, from a prostitute in Rajjo to a revolutionary leader in Thalaivii”.

Kangana Ranaut added that, we must free our daughters from the shackles of prejudices and that we must rise above the curiosity about their body parts. Not the one to stop at that, she continued writing that, “We must refrain from using sex workers challenging lives or circumstances as some kind of abuse or slur… every woman deserves her dignity”.

After this, Supriya Shrinate took to her ‘X’ handle (previously known as Twitter), and posted, “Someone who had access to my meta accounts (FB and Insta) posted an absolutely disgusting and objectionable post, which has been taken down. Anyone who knows me will know I would never say that for a woman. However a parody account that I have just discovered misusing my name is being run on Twitter ( @Supriyaparody ) which started the whole mischief, and is being reported”.

At this, the actress turned politician Smriti Z Irani, replied stating, ‘This initiation into politics by fire @KanganaTeam is not a reflection on who you are but on what they have done & are capable of continuing to do for they can’t fathom how to deal with women of steel. March onto victory. Vijayi Bhav!’.

Readers may recall that, just a few days back, it was announced that Kangana Ranaut will be the Bhartiya Janata Party (BJP) Lok Sabha candidate for the contesting the upcoming Lok Sabha elections from Himachal Pradesh’s Mandi.
