A month back, there were speculations that Kartik has collaborated with Sajid Nadiadwala and Vishal Bhardwaj for an action film. Kartik now seems to have confirmed the project in his own way. The actor was spotted at Sajid Nadiadwala’s office. It is to be noted that according to the speculations, Sajid is the producer of the film which is tentatively titled Arjun Ustara. He is also bankrolling Kartik’s Chandu Champion, helmed by Kabir Khan.

Kartik has been caught up shooting for Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 after wrapping up Chandu Champion. The actor was now seen at producer Sajid Nadiadwala’s office despite work being complete on the movie. Whether Kartik went on to discuss about the last minute details of Chandu Champion or the speculated film, remains to be known.

Where the speculations started

Almost a month ago, Pinkvilla had reported that Kartik is looking to sign an action film with Vishal Bhardwaj as the director and Sajid Nadiadwala as the producer. The movie is reportedly still in the writing stage and the prep for it has commenced, with the makers looking to take the film on floors by the second half of 2024. Thus, it is likely that Kartik might be discussing the very project with the producer. If things get finalized, it will be Kartik’s first out-and-out action movie.

Why Kartik might be inclined to work on the movie

Sources reported that Kartik wants to explore the action genre now, which is why he is inclined to sign the dotted line for the very project. Moreover, it works with his schedule. The actor is expecting to wrap up Anees Bazmee’s Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 by June 2024 and begin work on Vishal Bhardwaj’s film soon after.

Kartik and Vishal’s other projects

Apart from Chandu Champion, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Arjun Ustara, Kartik has reportedly been roped in for Hera Pheri 3 and Aashiqui 3 apart from Kunal Kohli’s Ryan: First Mission. Meanwhile, Vishal has only one project – the collaboration with Sajid Nadiadwala tentatively titled Arjun Ustara. His last outing was Khufiya featuring Tabu and Ali Fazal.
