Actor Anushka Sharma took to her Instagram on Friday to convey a profound message for the Indian Armed Forces. The ongoing strife, which has involved missile strikes, air raid alerts, and intensified military activities across the Line of Control, has raised significant security worries.

The cricketer was among the first Indian cricket players to issue a statement following the suspension of IPL 2025 due to the escalating Indo-Pak tensions. This development follows the cancellation of the match between Punjab Kings and Delhi Capitals in Dharamsala for safety reasons. The venue is situated less than 100 kilometers from Pathankot, where air raid alerts were raised, leading the BCCI to make this decision.

In reaction to the severe attack in Pahalgam, the Indian Army launched Operation Sindoor in the early hours of Wednesday. According to news agency ANI, nine terror camps in Pakistan and PoK were effectively neutralized. The targets included significant individuals from terror factions such as Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) and Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT), who were implicated in planning attacks against India.
