Despite being a constant victim of netizens’ trolls and insults, Ananya Panday’s last release, Kho Gaye Hum Kahan (2023) made immense viewership on Netflix. The coming-of-age drama garnered 6.3 million views within the first week of its release. Panday no doubt has carved a niche in the industry within 5 years since her debut. Whether it's Pati Patni Aur Woh (2019), Khaali Peeli (2020), Gehraiyaan (2022), or Dream Girl 2 (2023), Panday’s versatility impressed many.

However, there are always a certain group of people on the internet, who have constantly trolled and insulted her for being a ‘nepo kid’. Some of them even pitied her against big actresses like Deepika Padukone, Bhumi Pednekar. Hence, recently the 25-year-old actress opened up and gave a befitting reply to these trollers by saying that these trolls never affected her ever. Rather she feels lucky to get to work with Padukone and Pednekar at such an early age. While talking to Femina, she shared that she made quite good friends while shooting for Gehraiyaan and Pati Patni Aur Woh.

The Liger-actress further shared that there's not a single actress in the industry who can ever say that they never made friends while working together. Women do support each other in this entertainment industry, and she is the live example. She also recalled how much support and comfort she received from fellow actresses like Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor.

Ananya believes that people from outside can never see the energy and companionship between female co-stars. “They have gotten a lot of support from women within the industry, I don’t think anyone understands that from the outside”, she stated. She affirmed that there will always be a certain group of people who will keep on trolling and insult them no matter what or how much good you do.

Meanwhile, on the work front, Ananya Panday has 2 big projects. One with director Vikramaditya Motwane, and another with Akshay Kumar and R Madhavan next. We hope she will stun us with some powerful performances once again.
