The sixth season of Neha Dhupia's podcast, No Filter Neha, is currently going on. And several celebrities have appeared on the chat show. Ananya Panday was the special guest on the most recent episode. The actress opened up about receiving criticism and revealed that she has had to deal with a lot of it in her career. The Student Of The Year 2 actress said that feels bad when people refuse to watch a film if she stars in it.

Ananya Panday on dealing with criticism

Ananya told Neha that it doesn't bother her if critics give constructive feedback. The actress added that even the nastiest of things said by trolls don't bother her when she is having a good day and feeling confident about herself.

"[But] when I’m having a bad day, then [even a remark] about my hair being greasy will freak me out. When people say that they won’t watch a film because I’m in it, that makes me feel bad, not for myself but for the hundreds of other people who have worked on the film," said Ananya.

For the uninitiated, Ananya was initially scrutinised for her choice of movies. However, the actress won hearts with her performance in Gehraiyaan and Kho Gaye Hum Kahan. When Neha asked Ananya about her earlier movies, the actress said that all of them have helped shape her. "I don’t think I would be the actor I am if not for the lows. Ups and downs [are what] make you," she added.
