In Bejoy Nambiar's movie Tu Yaa Main, Adarsh Gourav and Shanaya Kapoor are ready to share the screen. The teaser was well received by viewers when it was released in March. Adarsh disclosed in an interview on the Untriggered podcast that he and Shanaya have not yet started shooting. The announcement video was released by the producers in order to create excitement.

Adarsh referred to the genre as a "creature feature" and said that the plot changes completely when a creature enters the story, even if it starts out as a romance. He also added that the real movie hasn't been filmed yet, noting that "We just shot the announcement video, which wasn't even the teaser of the film. We haven't filmed it yet. In June of this year, we will start filming. You've seen how some movies put out teaser videos to gauge public interest or generate excitement. I hope they aren't unsure about producing the movie, at least not in this way. This is not going on the back burner."

Additionally, he pondered on filming the announcement video, saying, "I feel like when we shot it, we only had a preliminary understanding of the character, because we were working off the sides provided to us. Although I have read the script, it has undergone significant revisions in the past six months. Because you haven't done the research yet, you wind up projecting your own conception of the figure. The only thing that can save your a** here is skilled editing and directing. All the mistakes I made that day as an actor were cut out.
