With sindoor and a sari, the actress Aishwarya Rai made a stunning appearance on the red carpet of the Cannes Film Festival. Her husband, actor Abhishek Bachchan, was enjoying a low-key dinner date in Mumbai with Diana Penty and his mother Jaya Bachchan as she dominated the world stage.

In Mumbai, Abhishek and Diana were seen spending Wednesday evening with Jaya, while Aishwarya dominated the red carpet. Social media has seen a number of images of the performers during their excursion.
Photos of Abhishek Bachchan and Diana arriving at a restaurant in Mumbai for dinner were posted on Instagram by Mumbai-based photographer Yogen Shah. With other relatives and companions, Diana, Abhishek, and Jaya were seen exiting the restaurant in a different set of photos.
Diana chose a more casual chic look for the dinner trip, sporting blue jeans and a black strapless tank top, while Jaya opted for a simple green suit for a more elegant style. In a black shirt, Abhishek gave them a laid-back vibe.
Aishwarya stuns in saree at Cannes
Aishwarya walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival on Wednesday. For the debut of The History of Sound, the actor donned a bespoke Manish Malhotra saree that was lavishly adorned with classic Indian jewelry.
In a contemporary interpretation of a traditional white handwoven kadwa Banarasi sari, Aishwarya chose a couture gown shape and a handwoven tissue drape for her 22nd festival appearance. The ivory and gold outfit featured a long, sheer train with beautiful gold embroidery and sequin work that resembled a dupatta, which added a dramatic element to the entire ensemble.
The sari included hand-embroidered zari work in real chandi that stretched across the fabric, as well as handwoven brocade designs. The deep red sindoor was what really grabbed people's attention. As the global ambassador for L'Oréal Paris, Aishwarya walked the red carpet.
