If you are in a hurry but still want to make proper Modak prasad for Ganpati Bappa at home during the next Ganesh festival, try this mouth-watering Instant Ras Malai Modak recipe which will be ideal as a Prasad for Ganeshotsav and will be loved by all. Modak is a Maharashtrian sweet that is made as an offering / bhog to Lord Ganesha and then served as a prasad to the devotees. The traditional Ukadiche Modak / Steamed Modak is made with rice flour outer cover and sweetened coconut stuffing and steamed. but Let's make the delicious Rasmalai Modak with this simple recipe.

Kesar Mawa Modak Recipe

Ingredients: 

250 grm Paneer 

1/2 of milk powder

1/3 cup of powdered sugar

1/4 cup of saffron milk

Chopped pistachio

2 tsp ghee 

1 tsp Rasamalai essence

Fresh rose petals

Method: 

1. In a bowl, crumble the paneer and mix it with the milk powder, and sugar powder until well combined.

2. Add 1/4 cup of saffron milk to get a light-yellow colour and add Chopped pistachio. Mix again until well combined.

3. Add 2 tsp ghee into the blended mixture and stir it well until to get a creamy and thick consistency. 

4. Add 1 tsp Rasamalai essence. Mix well. Add fresh rose petals and rest it for a few minutes. 

5. Grease a modak mold with ghee and place a portion of the mixture inside. Repeat steps 4 and 5 times with the remaining.

6. Transfer onto a serving plate and enjoy your delicious homemade Rasmalai Modak!
