This new iteration of the Panigale V4 is set to feature state-of-the-art technology, enhanced performance, and improved ergonomics, catering to the needs of motorcycle aficionados.
The latest Ducati Panigale V4 has already been introduced in international markets, showcasing a redesigned fairing that enhances aerodynamic efficiency by 4 percent. Below is an overview of the key features of the upcoming Ducati Panigale V4.
Ducati Panigale V4: Engine
The 2024 Ducati Panigale V4 is equipped with a 1,103cc Desmosedici Stradale V4 engine, now meeting Euro5+ standards. It generates 214 bhp at 13,500 rpm and 120 Nm of torque at 11,250 rpm, coupled with a six-speed transmission that includes a quick-shifter.
Ducati Panigale V4: Ergonomics
The ergonomics have been optimized to enhance rider comfort. The fuel tank has been reconfigured to offer additional space, while the footrests have been moved 10 mm inward. This adjustment improves ground clearance and facilitates a more compact riding position, thereby enhancing aerodynamic efficiency.
Ducati Panigale V4: Chassis and swingarm
The Panigale V4 features significant updates to its chassis, including a lighter front frame that is 3.47 kg lighter than its predecessor. The motorcycle is now equipped with a hollow double-sided swingarm, which enhances stiffness while reducing overall weight. This design also allows the silencer to be positioned beneath the engine.
Ducati Panigale V4: Suspension and braking
The suspension system incorporates third-generation electronically controlled Öhlins NPX/TTX units, which provide improved hydraulic valve speed for superior performance. Braking is facilitated by lighter Brembo Hypure front brake calipers and a Race eCBS system, developed in partnership with Bosch, ensuring enhanced precision.
Ducati Panigale V4: Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO)
The Ducati Panigale V4 is equipped with the Ducati Vehicle Observer (DVO), a sophisticated system featuring over 70 sensors that continuously monitor real-time forces and load distribution. This system effectively integrates data from the IMU inertial platform to enhance the motorcycle's handling capabilities.
Ducati Panigale V4: Features
This model boasts an array of electronic controls, such as Ducati Traction Control DVO, Ducati Slide Control, Ducati Wheelie Control DVO, Ducati Power Launch DVO, Engine Brake Control, and Ducati Quick Shift 2.0. The enhanced quick-shifter system provides improved gear-shift precision with minimized travel distance.
Ducati Panigale V4: Dashboard
The updated 6.9-inch dashboard, featuring an 8:3 aspect ratio, is engineered for superior readability. It employs Optical Bonding technology to ensure optimal visibility under various lighting conditions. Additionally, the dashboard includes a track display that provides supplementary information, including G-forces, power and torque outputs, and lean angles.
Further information regarding pricing and availability is anticipated to be released shortly.
